We will spend six weeks at the National University of Singapore studying Southeast Asian politics and history while exploring the island city-state and immersing ourselves in its culture through cultural and informational excursions.
Heading across the causeway above the Straits of Johore, the group will travel up the Malay Peninsula to Melaka and Kuala Lumpur, discovering Malaysias Islamic heritage, its colonial past, and its ethnic diversity.
In Thailand we will travel first to the ancient capital of Ayutthaya, then move southward to bustling Bangkok where we will visit temples and palaces and experience the merging of traditional values in an urban setting.

This site design was inspired by Derek Punsalan's beautiful and innovative 5ThirtyOne.

The travelog utilizes WordPress 2.02 and the photos section runs on Gallery 2.1.1. All design is achieved with pure CSS. The HTML/PHP/CSS was written using AnyEdit 2.0.

Headers and titles use k-type's Roadway. All other text appears in Lucida Grande for Mac users and Lucida Sans for Windows users. If neither of these fonts is installed on your system, do yourself and favor and get them, otherwise text will be replaced by the nearest sans-serif alternative.
